Best custom song services in 2026: how to choose
There are two kinds of personalized-song service now: studios where a real artist writes and records your song over several days, and AI services that deliver in minutes for a fraction of the price. Here is how they differ, what to check before paying, and where we fit.
What an AI custom song sounds like
Three unedited songs from this site, with their briefs.

The two kinds of custom song service
Human songwriter services such as Songfinch and Songlorious match you with a working musician. You fill in a questionnaire, the artist writes and records, and you receive a finished track. Songfinch advertises songs "starting at $179" with individual artists listed from $199 to $999; Songlorious describes itself as "Real artists. Real voices." with over 300,000 songs delivered (both read from their homepages on 24 October 2026).
AI services, including this one, generate the lyrics and the recording from your brief in minutes. Prices are typically $10 to $20. The good ones let you hear the song before paying; the weak ones sell a credit pack first and let you find out later.

What to check before you pay any service
- Can you hear the actual song, or only generic samples, before money changes hands?
- Are the samples real output or produced by hand? Ask for the brief that made each one.
- How is a hard name handled? Ask them to say what happens when it is wrong.
- Is the price one payment, or a credit pack or subscription you will forget to cancel?
- What do you receive: MP3, lyrics, a share page, a video? In what quality?
- Who runs the company, and how do you reach them when a file will not play?
Reviews of individual services
The two best-known studios and two of the fastest-growing AI song services, reviewed from their own pages and their Trustpilot profiles:
Where NameSong fits
We are an AI service that shows its work. Every sample on this site is unedited output with its brief underneath. You hear the first 60 seconds of your own song before paying, the price is $12.99 once, and the lyric sheet shows the real spelling of the name while the singer gets a respelling if it needs one. Unlocking also gives you the lyric sheet as a PDF to print and a private link to send, where they can play the song without signing up; you can switch that link off whenever you like. If you want a human artist and have a week, pick a studio. If you want to hear it tonight, start here.
