Is the preview really free?

Yes. You hear the first 60 seconds of your actual song and read every lyric before any payment. We ask for an email so we can send you the song; there is no card step until you choose to unlock it.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per song you keep. Nothing renews, and there are no credits to buy.

Why does it cost less than a songwriter studio?

Because the lyrics and the singing are made by AI from what you write, in minutes, instead of by a hired artist over several days. You trade a human performer for speed, a lower price and hearing it before you pay.

There is no general refund window, since you hear the song before buying it. If the name is sung wrong after you've paid, the remake is free. If a file is faulty or something you paid for never arrives, write to us and we fix it or refund it, as the law requires.

Which currency do you charge in?

US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts it and may add its own fee.

Can I buy a song for someone else to make?

Not yet. There are no gift cards; you make the song yourself and send them the private link, which takes about as long as writing a card.

One song. One price. After you've heard it.

$12.99once

Human songwriter studios start around $179 and take days. This takes two minutes and you decide with the song in your ears.

Prices are in USD and include VAT where it applies. Nothing is charged until you unlock a song you've heard.

How much does a custom song cost?

Here, $12.99 for one song, paid once after you've heard the first 60 seconds. There is no subscription and nothing to top up. The price is the same for a birthday, an anniversary or a wedding song, in any of the seven styles.

A personalized song and a custom song mean the same thing on most sites: an original song written around one person's name and story. Studios where a human songwriter writes and performs it cost more and take days, because a person does the work. These are the prices on their own sites:

Service	One song	Hear it before paying	First listen
NameSong (AI-made)	$12.99	Yes, the first 60 seconds	About 2 minutes
Songfinch (human artists)	From $179; artists up to $1,099	No	7 days as standard
Songlorious (human artists)	From $200 for a 2-minute song	After paying half: a short clip and the lyrics	4 days as standard
DivineSong	$99	No	About 7 days

Read on each company's own site on 24 October 2026. Prices change; check before you order. Songfinch, Songlorious FAQ, DivineSong FAQ.

If you want a real singer, a longer song or a live performance, a studio is the better choice. If you want their name sung in your story tonight, and to hear it before paying, this is the cheaper one.

How much does a custom wedding song cost?

The same $12.99. A wedding song here is about two minutes, written from your story and ready the same day, for personal use at the ceremony, the reception or in your wedding video.

Add-ons, if you want them

Nothing here is needed to hear or keep the song. Each one is offered on the song page after you unlock it, except the extra preview.

+ $9.99: AI singer video: a fictional AI singer performs about 30 seconds of your chorus on video, ready in about 15 minutes.
+ $6.99: Living photos: three of your photos turned into 5-second moving clips. They are uploaded with your consent and deleted after 30 days.
+ $1.99: One more preview: another take of a song once its free re-record is used.

The free preview

Answer a few questions, enter your email, and about two minutes later the first 60 seconds of the real song play on its page, with all the lyrics beside it. No card, no password. If you don't keep it, you pay nothing.

If the name is sung wrong

Every song gets one free re-record. After you've paid, if the singer still says the name wrong, ask for the free remake on the song page and it is recorded again with the name fixed, once per song. Apart from that, there is no general refund window, because you hear the song before you buy it; your statutory rights are not affected.

In the EU and the UK, the unlock button asks you to agree that the song is delivered straight away, which ends the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content once it is delivered.
