Who we are

NameSong is run by [to be filled by owner], [to be filled by owner] ("we", "us"). You can reach us at aitaylorfan@gmail.com. These terms apply to every song and add-on you order on this website.

What we sell

NameSong writes an original song about one person from the details you give us (their name, who they are to you, the occasion and a few lines of story). An AI language model writes the lyrics and an AI music model composes and sings the song. No human artist performs it, and the voices are not copies of any real person's voice.

• Free preview. Before you pay anything, you can listen to the first 60 seconds of your song. Making a preview does not create any payment obligation.
• Full song. If you want to keep the song, you buy it once. You get the full-length MP3 and the lyric sheet to download, a private link to share it and the photo video maker.
• Optional add-ons. After unlocking a song you can buy extras: an AI singer video of the chorus, sung by a fictional AI character (not a real person), and AI living photos, which turn 3 of your photos into short moving clips. Each add-on is a separate one-time purchase.
• Free extras. A photo video made in your browser (your photos stay on your device), a private share link, and a 15-second teaser link that stops after 14 days.
• Extra previews. Each account includes a number of free previews. Further previews may be offered for a small one-time price, shown before you buy.

There is no subscription and nothing renews. Every purchase is a single payment for the item you chose.

Your account

When you ask for your first preview we create an account for the email address you give us, so you can find your songs again under "My songs". You are responsible for keeping access to that email address. You must be at least 18 to create an account or buy. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

Prices and payment

The price of each item is shown in US dollars before you pay, including any VAT that applies to you. Payment is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. [Owner: the pricing copy in all six languages now says prices include VAT where it applies. Turn on Stripe Tax with tax-inclusive prices (so Stripe never adds tax on top), or confirm the small-business exemption applies.] The contract for a purchase is made when you complete the payment.

Delivery and your right of withdrawal

Your song is digital content. We make it available immediately after payment, on the song page and in "My songs".

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content that is not on a physical medium, this right ends once delivery has started, provided that you expressly agreed to immediate delivery and confirmed that you know you lose the right of withdrawal. You give that agreement and confirmation on the unlock button before you pay. This applies to the song and to each add-on. Details are in our Refund policy.

"Name sung wrong? Free remake"

If the singer gets the name wrong, you can ask for one free remake of that song. You request it from the song page. This is offered once per song, in addition to your statutory rights.

Apart from this remake there is no general refund window. You hear the first minute of your song before you pay, so please listen before you buy.

If a purchase is refunded, for whatever reason, the song is locked again and the add-ons bought for it are removed; the right to use the song ends.

Your statutory rights stay unaffected. If a file you bought is faulty, cannot be downloaded or is not delivered, write to aitaylorfan@gmail.com and we will fix it. If we cannot, you are entitled to a price reduction or a refund under the law.

What you send us

You may only send details you are allowed to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or harassing. Do not ask for a song that imitates a real artist, uses their name or reproduces existing lyrics. We may refuse or stop a song that breaks these rules.

For AI living photos, only upload photos you are allowed to use, of people who agreed, and of a child only if you are their parent or guardian. Do not upload photos of people who have passed away. The share link is private: send it only to people you want to hear the song.

The story you write is used to make your song. How we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy.

Using your song

Songs are made for personal use. You may play your song, share it with friends and family, and use it in your own non-commercial videos and events. Any commercial use (selling it, releasing it on streaming services, using it in advertising) needs our written permission.

Because songs are made by AI, two songs can occasionally sound alike, and a song may not be protected by copyright in some countries. We do not promise that a song is unique or that you can register rights in it.

Reviews and reminders

After buying a song you may write one review of it. We publish it only if you agree and after we check it; we show good and bad reviews alike and never pay or reward anyone for a review. Occasion reminders are optional; each reminder email has a one-click unsubscribe.

Our liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law (such as product liability law) requires it. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, and only up to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. Otherwise our liability is excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version shown when you bought an item applies to that purchase.

Law and disputes
