Father’s Day
A Father’s Day song from a son, about the man who showed you how
Fathers and sons often show love sideways: a fixed bike, a ride to practice, a nod from the sideline. A song lets you say it straight once a year, in his favorite style, with his name sung back to him.

- What you understood about him once you became a dad yourself.
- The thing he still calls to ask about.
If you are a dad now too
Sons with kids of their own often write the best Father’s Day lines, because they finally know what the early mornings felt like. One line about seeing him in yourself, or seeing him with your children, gives the chorus a reason to come back.
