Gather lines from the family
The best grandma songs come from several generations. Ask a child, a grandchild and a sibling of hers for one memory each, then send the three most vivid, and name who it is from in one of them.
Make it easy for her to hear
- Pick a slower style, like a piano ballad or acoustic pop, so every word is clear.
- Play it through a speaker, not a phone held at arm’s length.
- Tell her before you press play that every word is about her.
For a big round number
